Yesterday I made a lemon poppy seed pound cake. (because I have a huge bag of poppy seeds and three pounds of butter that I need to get rid of by Tuesday) The pound cake has twenty five tablespoons of butter in it. TWENTY FIVE. In the last 24 hours I have eaten half the stupid cake. Which means I am consuming, on average, a little more than a teaspoon of butter an hour. I don't think that's healthy. I think that might be a problem. That is all. Oh..and today while I was cleaning out a cupboard (that I never used because it was difficult to get to) I found a bag of cat food that I had purchased the day before my cats arrived here. That was two years and seven months ago. That's some old cat food. That is really all. |
